Amid the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the client was witnessing partial and inconsistent reporting of the dealership sales manpower and wanted to create a cloud-based fool-proof and efficient mechanism to track attendance. It needed a transparent, efficient, and flexible attendance management system to track complex shift patterns and provide real-time reporting.

The leadership believed that having accurate information on dealership manpower reporting would not only support the company’s growth but serve as a strong foundation for high performance and provide a competitive advantage.

The Solution

Innovantes designed the new attendance management system comprising of Android and iOS mobile apps. The solution was based on a facial recognition algorithm using Azure Face services. The solution gave the dealership admins standardized and transparent access to a central database, with reusable work schedules for all categories of dealership employees. The system was integrated with the existing cloud-based manpower system through web services. The solution improved the productivity of the resources freeing up considerable time to focus on core business while automating the entire attendance management activities.
