Challenge
India has witnessed a huge increase in the number of cases of violence against medical professionals. Many reports concern medical professionals being roughed up, even killed, by patients’ disgruntled relatives. Innovantes collaborated with the client to develop a crisis management solution which could be used by its members in the event of an anticipated attack
OUR
Solution
Innovantes created mobile apps for healthcare professionals on which any violent attack could be reported. The apps had multiple validations built in to avoid potential misuse and was integrated with helplines such as the emergency room, Police Control Room etc.
SOS notifications to all members in the vicinity of the attack helped improve the response time. In addition to the members, notifications were also sent to the journalists.
